_RUNNER: The Novel The Play A boy discovers a book outside of his foster home, and begins reading. RUNNER follows the story of hot-headed Sean Stealings and the runaways who are recruited off the streets on the condition that they take a drug called Idlis and complete a series of premeditated murders. 2 females, 7 males.

16, cocky exterior covering his bruises. Naïve, yet a leader.
MAN 2, TRISTAN, VOICE;
Early 30's male, bitter, haunted, but is not all evil.
GIRL, AXE, NURSE;
Axe is in her late teens, white female, wears a strong shell, torn, and the only girl.
20's, Black male. Cool, street smart, numb inside.
Late teens male, lanky. Goofy, musician, dark past.
18, Black male, large and loud, enjoys food, loyal.
JOSH "MAC" MACINTOSH;
15, white male, nerdy, small, disturbed, has a compulsive tic.
