A boy discovers a book outside of his foster home, and begins reading.
RUNNER follows the story of hot-headed Sean Stealings and the runaways
who are recruited off the streets on the condition that they take a drug
called Idlis and complete a series of premeditated murders. 2 females, 7
males.

Cast of Characters MAN/KALLOW; Powerful male actor, late 30's, represents who BOY see's as the badguy. BOY; Played by a girl, 12 yrs old boy in foster care or bad family situation. SEAN STEALINGS; 16, cocky exterior covering his bruises. Naïve, yet a leader. MAN 2, TRISTAN, VOICE; Early 30's male, bitter, haunted, but is not all evil. GIRL, AXE, NURSE; Axe is in her late teens, white female, wears a strong shell, torn, and the only girl. TRAVIS DODGER; 20's, Black male. Cool, street smart, numb inside. SACHA FADIN; Late teens male, lanky. Goofy, musician, dark past. KRYPTONITE, POLICE; 18, Black male, large and loud, enjoys food, loyal. JOSH "MAC" MACINTOSH; 15, white male, nerdy, small, disturbed, has a compulsive tic. |
